Allegany State Park · Salamanca, NY

Sleep where the forest begins

Two private cabins nestled at the edge of 68,000 acres of wilderness — no shared walls, no crowds, just quiet and the sound of wind through hardwood.

Most cabins put you inside a park. Ours puts you at the threshold — close enough to hear the woods breathe, far enough to keep the world out.

Beehunter Cabins sits on Beehunter Trail, just off Route 219, where Allegany State Park opens up in every direction. We're not a resort. We're not a campground. We're two standalone cabins built for people who come to this part of New York for one reason: the silence.

Whether you're here for fall foliage, winter snowshoeing, or a summer weekend with no plans at all — these cabins are designed to get out of your way and let the place do the work.

What's Around

Allegany has no shortage of reasons to stay

Sixty-eight thousand acres of state park land surround us. Here's what you'll find when you step outside.

Lake Allegany

One of the largest natural lakes in New York — kayaking, fishing, and sunset views just a short drive from the cabin.

Hiking & Trails

Miles of marked trails wind through old-growth hardwood and hemlock. From easy nature walks to strenuous ridge runs — there's a path for every pace.

Four Seasons

Spring wildflowers, summer green canopy, autumn color that draws visitors from three states, and winter snowscapes that make the whole park feel like a different country.
